I can guess that. When I talk about acknowledging the existence of people- I'm not talking about absolute existence, I am talking more about social/emotional existence. If you ignore people, they really don't exist for you. For example, when I worked in San Francisco I noticed that many people had an ability to completely ignore the homeless. For many people the homeless simply do not exist. That's what I mean.
