Yes. Dell, Gateway, Micron (I've only dealt with the direct marketers--not sure about how things work from retail) all have 1st year onsite (within 1 business day) warranty for parts and labor. Then 2 more years of just parts (and you can call on the phone for assistance if you need it). For an extra $100 bucks or so, you can extend that to 3 years parts and labor.

I know Dell's tech support is hell--long hold times of maybe up to 30 minutes. And sometimes, a recording just tells you to call back later because "they won't be able to answer your call in a timely manner." Gateway is AWESOME--average hold time is like a minute or two (on Gateway Gold support line). Micron is pretty good too.
