The following quote is an example of the something that would convince the recipient that supporting AMD isn't worth the trouble.

"I understand that the Dell survey on preferences around Intel/AMD processors was programmed incorrectly, screwing the results, and that all responses up to this point will be thrown out, mine included. Thanks for wasting my time! If you can't do a simple programming job, what makes the public think you'd be better at engineering computers? Furthermore, your spokesman discounted the idea that the survey would be used to consider using AMD processors (a clear winner of an idea, in my mind) - so what's the use of it then - as a manipulative tool to squeeze even sweeter deals from Intel? Deceptive to present it with the idea that you really want to know what your customers think. Geez, I think I'm gonna be sick. Gotta go buy some Gateway computers. Later."
