Thread;

Any possibility that cpq is buying a few shares? After all, it's not like they have blown their wad on the buy-back program just yet. In addition, volume was ho-hum today, suggesting to me that maybe the upward price movement was accomplished simply by cpq throwing a little demand into the ring. Heck, maybe MC happens to believe things can't get any worse (in fact, he probably knew all along that business wouldn't get any better until this fall) and this is the trough as far as the stock price is concerned.
