I also think that whatever you read about Afghan culture is overlooking a good deal. This is a culture where being a warrior is the highest aspiration a man can have, and where boys are taught to use arms from early childhood. Are they learning this from mommy? I doubt it. The Afghan boy wants to be like Father, just like most other boys on the planet.
