The culture of the home is very Matriarcal. When males grow to be adult they continue to take direction from their mothers far more than we do here. I have been embarrassed to see men in high positions of authority allowing their mothers to tell them what to do on the job. I am not used to that. That doesn't mean that they don't want to be like their fathers. Its very traditional that the mothers are responsible for guiding them in that direction as children and the fathers become more involved when puberty kicks in.
