COMPX had a flat open and rose steadly through out the session. Last hour of trading is probably inaccurate as the Nasdaq was down due to trading problems.

Close It was a somewhat unusual close to the quarter. The Nasdaq had system problems with SelectNet and SOES which made order executions difficult during the regular session. To remedy the situation, the Nasdaq remained open an extra hour so traders could have additional time to struggle with order executions. Nonetheless, the tech-heavy index followed through on its gains earlier in the week to close the session out with a 110-point weekly gain.
