michail - thanks for the explanation. iknow there have been times when wacky typos have been voided (and i understand the rationale behind it; for example, a stock is trading at 12, slowly, and a '45' goes through, or something like that), and i do agree with that.

since i wasn't planning to trade the last 90 minutes, i only had one position to close out when the naz-aster happened, and couldn't understand how your trade could have been voided when there were obviously tons of shares traded near that point.
