Can I uncheck these without "hurting" anything on my computer?I have DSL and therefore are always hooked up to the Internet. Sorry for the delay in responding. I've been away. Yes. If you find that taking the program out of startup hinders anything just put the checkmark back in and everything should be back the way you had it. With a DSL connection I'd sure recommend a firewall. There are several free ones you can try. Have you heard of any problems between Esignal and ZoneAlarm? I searched around a little this AM and found nothing indicating an incompatibility. tc
