National Parks not National forests. And now Cheney-Bush wants to open up National parks and Monuments to complete exploitation. And National Forests too of course.

If they had their way it will al be clear-cut, mined, streams poisoned, cattle grazing and motorized vehicules zooming everywhere. Hunting too. Great ideas. The public land is there for their cronies' exploitation. Whatever happened to "This Land Is Our Land"?

But even the GOP congress fearful of being bounced out of office are not supporting them anymore. Bush/Cheney are losing their own party because they went too extreme, currpt and greedy, then alienated the moderates who made the party palatable for swing-voters. Watch it continue.

Watch Bush replace Cheney with a moderate out of sheer terror but watch the tactic fail because he'll just look wishy-washy like his Dad ("read my lips"). And watch them all down as exposed exploiters, BS artists, consumer gougers, looters of the public reserves, pigs at the trough and incompetents in 2002.

The tyranny of Texas over the rest of the nation will soon come to a crashing end. Watch Texas energy companies have to give back some of what they stole from California and other places. Delay, Armey, Gramm, Bush, Cheney, Hutchinson and all their lobbyist friends all had way too much power spouting policies which most people in the middle disagree with completely.

Someone will write a book about the corruption brought on by dirty soft money in Texas and their attempt to stage a coup d'etat at the other 49 states expense. They may re-elect them in Texas but they will lose power and be shunted to the side as the GOP struggles to regain the middle and popularity amongst disgusted and disappointed swing voters who just feel ripped off. Very much like what went on during the S+L debacle in Texas with the support of then Dem Majority Leader Wright. Texas is a great place but it seems to breed political corruption. Not the only place that does but certainly their macho swagger seems to condone this behavior.
