I just finished watching Moneyline on CNN (9:40pm West Coast).

3 of the 4 analysts discussing MSFT feel that the ruling was positive, it will be very difficult to prove the tying issue, and a settlement is in the works.

One guy called it an "essentially closed case".

The 4th guy was confused and asked a couple of questions that were answered nicely. He was nodding his head in agreement by the end of the discussion when the other guys said that MSFT will not be broken up and that they basically won enough of the appeal that it becomes a minor issue going forward.

That's what I heard and observed.
