CPN REI DUK etc have all locked in production of gas turbines from GE, Alstom, & Siemens WH through ?2004/5. I wonder where these turbines ordered off of balance sheets will go if many plants wont be built. Funny we here so many conflicting accounts: Too much gas , not enough gas. Too much electricity, not enough. A few quarters from now if manufacturing starts picking up and all of the new big homes need electricity and NG heating in a cold Winter and we may find the economy testing the limits of the energy infrastructure again. If OPEC agrees to hold production for the remainder of the year ???
