>CIO TECH POLL: June's CIO Magazine Tech Poll in partnership with yardeni.com
will be posted at yardeni.com Monday morning at 9 am. The latest
results suggest that the tech slump may be bottoming. On average, our panel
of 276 CIOs from a broad cross-section of companies predicts IT budgets will
increase 6% over the next 12 months, up from 4% in May. This is the first
significant up tick since November, when budgets were expected to increase
19%, on average. I expect the rebound will be lackluster through the end of
the year. The poll includes questions on seven categories of future IT
spending. There is also a drilldown feature for cross-section analysis.

The poll should be interesting.
