BUGGI's ASP spreadsheet is out for Q2

"My ASP opinion for this quarter

You know, that I provide my ASP tables
every week in excel-form and the same in html-form.

Now, the quarter is over and I could give you all
the collected facts for the hole quarter.

Because my english isn't so good, I only want to
point out some "facts" and I want you to link to
my homepage, where you could download the latest
version.

The key message is, that the blended ASP with
A4+MP is very stable, when you compare it to Q1.
But the desktop development especially the athlon
looks very very bad.

The partial Athlon-Desktp-ASP went down this quarter from
over 150$ to under 100$!!!
Furthermore the Duron-Desktop looks also not very nice -
it went down from round about 55$ to 43$!!!

Why could we hold the ASP stable?

The K6-Line is leaving our sheets this quarter, where
the prices were very weak and at the beginning of this
quarter, the ASP's where very strong - this helped alot.

To find out, what the MP+A4 can do for us is a little
bit tricky, because we don't know the exact numbers in
price and in pieces, that's why you can find a guess from
me in my "ASP Simulation" part in the sheet.

Overall I prefer you to download the excel-stuff,
because you can see the math. Don't get upset because
of one makro-message - it helps my to build the sheets.
When you don't want it, go for the html-version please.
