WHEN WILL SHORTING BEGIN? I am not in ASYT presently, so I can't answer that at any real depth, because I have not looked at the charts closely in a while. Firstly, I expect that this shorting by owners of converts will not be a one-time thing. I assume, for example that ASYT is presently in a trading range of $12.47 or so to $19.48 or so. So as ASYT gets towards the upper part of that range I would expect the shorting to begin in earnest. I would also expect that (in the case of ASYT) breaking out of its trading range that the upside stops on the shorts would be taken out (presumably you could see this as an initial spurt, followed by hesitation, then moving northwards again). I would then expect the process to repeat once the higher end of the new trading range is established. As I have said, as many times as ASYT moves through the same trading range, I would expect it to repeat. This means, I suppose, that we could expect ASYT to be bound in trading ranges more than previously was the case. I note the following news item today.
