This is a strange problem involving Javascript. . .

Given: A web page that contains Javascript.
Many users view it with the MS IE browser. . .
. . .Most of them do not experience any problems at all. . .
. . .A small few have problems and a typical report is:

"I get an Internet Explorer Script Error on every page. It says an error has occurred in the script on this page, then shows the following: Line:254, Char:13, Error:Conditional compilation is turned off, Code:0 At the bottom it asks if I want to continue running on this page. When I click yes, another error message pops up and shows similar info except in the error line it says: object expected."

I use a Netscape browser and have no problems at all. . .

It appears to me that there must be some options that need to be turned On/Off to make it work, but I don't know.

Anyone have any ideas on this one?

Thank you,
Joe
