July is historically the best month of the third quater for the Dow, start of the second half brings an inflow of retirement funds, July down only 3 monthes in last 11 years, Huge gain in July will usually provide a better buying oppertunity over the next four monthes, also the start of the NASDAQ's worst four monthes of the year historically. Keep in mind that this year in 2001 has been a complete inverse to historical trends.
