I agree, but it was the State AG's that prevented a settlement the first time around.

You are right of course,

Serious response: It would be incumbent on MS to seek a global resolution of the problem, no one gains in court.

Not so serious response: Yes, a states' settlement would be nice, but in the words of the immortal and incisive Henry Blodgett, "It's different this time."
