At least the California politicians appear to have finally learned to shut up. More likely the media has gotten as sick of them as everyone else is and no longer gives them coverage. There was one lady trying to make all the TV business shows whose only argument was "They're cheating us and it's not right". She had NO arguments that a reasonable person would recognize as legitimate.

When I biked through southern Nevada I was astounded by the amount of high voltage transmission towers strung across the desert. They were EVERYWHERE and most of them went East/West into southern California.
