when i use charts/technical analysis, it tries to put me at better odds than 50/50.

so with stochastic "down low" and the fact xau has been steadily declining, my rationale is that there is high chance of a bounce.

your post suggests that the stochastic can go to 10 or lower, which CAN surely happen. But from an odds/chance point of view, a s/t bounce might occur.
