kirby,

Interesting post ,however my interest is trying to figure
out all those sophisticated investors also, who are buying
and holding big cap stocks such as KO . Coke has a market
capitalization of 180 billion $$$. It will earn an estimated
$1.65 this fiscal year and is estimated to earn $1.93 in 1998.
Make no mistake about it its a great company and earns a whopping
amount of money all over the world. But at $72 /shr we are
looking at 45 times forward earnings. I mean give me a break...
I wish someone could give me a sophisticated reason or even
a naive reason for buying this stock at this level.
