FIRST AMERICAN SCIENTIFIC CORP finalizes Joint Venture Agreement with Beau Pre Explorations Ltd. (FASC-OTC, BB)
VANCOUVER, July 3 /PRNewswire/ - Mr. C.L. (Cal) Kantonen, Chairman of FASC is pleased to announce that, at its June 29, 2001 Annual General Meeting, the Board of Directors of Beau Pre Explorations Ltd approved and ratified the formal 50 - 50 Joint Venture Agreement proposed by FASC to utilize the KDS system to extract gold from all of Beau Pre's gold properties on Vancouver Island.
This will now pave the way for final system enhancements and the placement of FASC's patented KDS gold recovery system on Valentine Mountain. Construction and site preparation are to begin immediately, under the direction of Dr. Robert Salter Ph.D. who will oversee the management and all technical aspects of the operation. Both BPD and FASC wish to thank Dr. Salter for his participation in turning this project into a reality, and welcome his expertise and wisdom in what should prove to be a technical break-through in mining precious metals without the use of harmful chemicals.
