Don't know what take-overs will come next, but the low POG has slowed exploration to a crawl. Therefore, consolidation seems like the logical path for companies to take if they are determined to grow.

I am just glad that I bailed on HM after the ABX offer. I know this is not the thread for individual stocks, but if anybody would like to comment on the deal and possible outcomes based on a falling or rising POG it would be appreciated.

As ABX and HM fall in price, are the chances of the deal falling through increasing? If so, at what point do HM shareholder refuse the deal? Does ABX stock bounce back up if the deal falls through? Will ABX offer more if the deal falls through thus causing their stock to fall even further?
