Carranza, every word has a meaning in text like this??

Like these two:

infrastructure equipment

The text clearly states the dependency
(cutting some descriptive terms, which has the
meaning of regular BS.)

- Under the terms of the [] expansion
- Nokia has also been granted a
- royalty-bearing license under
- Qualcomm's patents
- to make and sell infrastructure equipment
- for all CDMA wireless systems

while

- Qualcomm is granted rights under Nokia's
- CDMA-related and
- other patents
- to market and sell CDMA components,
- including multi-mode integrated circuits.

to parse the rest

As part of the agreement,

- Nokia will continue to pay royalties []
- for subscriber equipment (not infra in this case)
- at the same rates established by the terms of
- the original cross-license agreement in 1992,
- irrespective of the CDMA standard implemented.

Ilmarinen.

Note also that Nokia got what it always have claimed,
that the old agreement covers WCDMA for handsets.

Note that Q still must continue spinning while
Nokia has green light for everything.
