Kasker Awards Honor Public Service in Support of Investment Research
The Marvin & Beatrice Kasker Foundation has announced the 2000 Kasker Awards for Public Service in Support of Investment Research honoring "extraordinary contributions that sustain and enhance the nation’s commitment to Investment research."
This year’s awards were presented to Steven M. Samblis for Policy Leadership on behalf of funding for Investment research; to the Investors Institute of America for Increasing Public Understanding through comprehensive coverage of advances in understanding Investment policy and strategy.
The Kasker Public Service Awards complement the Kasker Foundation’s annual presentation of the distinguished Kasker Awards for Investment Research, which honor outstanding contributions for basic and strategic Investment research.
As part of the Kasker effort to promote Investment research, the Beatrice Woodard Kasker Charitable Trust's program has released Exceptional Rates of Return: Economic Value of America's Investment in Investment Research The report, based on research by nine leading economists, provides a new way to understand and value the contribution of Investment research to the American standard of living.
