Vital: As long as people are afraid to hold it in general then that means that I am the contrarian and thats ok by me. Precisely. This is more a positional trader's attitude as opposed to a daytrader's, but I think the concept is the same within the timeframe of interest. Another point I take into consideration is the media's participation. Last fall I alluded to a period in which NT would slip out of the headlines... Message 14652297 Slowly, but surely, the press has eased off the NT story. The public seems to have resigned itself to a bearish point of view, which tells me that we have a good chance of some northbound price action...when the crowd is least expecting it. The recent bear action in NT trading also seems to be losing it's force. Just last week I think the bears threw all they could at NT and it couldn't make a new low. While new lows may come in the future, I think we're in for some significant bull action before that happens. Just speculating. WN
