Precisely. This is more a positional trader's attitude as opposed to
a daytrader's, but I think the concept is the same within the timeframe
of interest. Another point I take into consideration is the media's
participation. Last fall I alluded to a period in which NT would
slip out of the headlines...

Slowly, but surely, the press has eased off the NT story. The public
seems to have resigned itself to a bearish point of view, which tells
me that we have a good chance of some northbound price action...when
the crowd is least expecting it. The recent bear action in NT trading
also seems to be losing it's force. Just last week I think the bears
threw all they could at NT and it couldn't make a new low. While new
lows may come in the future, I think we're in for some significant bull
action before that happens.

Just speculating.
