Reading over my response, I realize I was a bit harsh on you. It is just that I have a great imagination. If I were a woman and anyone tried to tell me that they were going to determine the use, function, and disposition of MY BODY (and to add insult to injury, that they were speaking only for themselves, no God--and no authority beyond their personal feeling)--then I would likely be upset. To insult, and to demean, the exquisite agony of my personal choices with intrusive flippancy--well, such an act of smugness would certainly provoke a reaction.
