John - Part of the reason NT has fallen really hard over the past couple of qtr's is due to the fact that they are losing enormous ground in what you call "this optics fibre sector". They used to sport a 46% share and as of the report two weeks ago, it has dwindled to 29% over a few short months. If you want fibre, go for GLW or JDSU.

Had an annual bbq with some NT employees among other friends and they said they wouldn't be surprised to see NT trading at $6.00 Canadian sometime this year. I believe it.
