Who can "knowingly" make that decision if the double blind is on? In other words, how do they know that that person is not already on WF10? The only possibility I can think of is if the Independent Safety Monitor Board, which has the blind key, makes the recommendation. I assume in this case the patient would have to be fully through the follow up period of the trial.
