Yes.....there were a series of articles in the San Jose Mercury News about the whole mess called "Iran Contra". There are serious allegations that the CIA turned their back and allowed the Contra's to sell cocaine in east LA to help fund the arms acquisition. If this is true it would be terrible as the drug trade help build the strength of gangs in east LA. It gave the gangs money to buy their own weapons. I have also heard that the army officers who covered up the rape and assassination of some nuns along with the assassination of Bishop Romero are being held in house arrest in Florida. Maybe Noriega and these thugs are all living it up down in Florida on our tax dollars. I wouldn't be surprised if something mysterious happened to them during GWB's term.
