"They come from people who claim to be in contact with God." It might surprise you to find that I agree with you. Talk is cheap. Rising from the dead on the other hand is something that ought to make you sit up and take notice that something is different about this "claim" BTW, Christianity not only claims to be in contact with God, but also claims that God has contacted us by becoming a man in order to bring us back into relationship with God by bearing sin on the cross. "Emanuel, which being interpreted means God with us".
