Tribute to Brian Wilson

I remember a discussion occurring on this thread a few months back about Brian and his music.

Well, most of the tribute show was pretty good, although I thought Paul Simon sucked (although I think I detected neurological problems), as did the Go Go's. But Carly looked pretty decent for a high-odometer girl (not much sagging) and Crosby was in very fine voice. Carnie Wilson also lost about 100 lbs. But the real revelation for me was Vince Gill. I'd heard of him, but never heard him sing before. I always thought he was some kind of country doufuss (sp???) like Travis Tritt or someone like that. He blew me away with "Warmth of the Sun". I thought I was listening to an angel sing. Off to the library tomorrow to check out some of his CDs.
