Maybe it is good enough for Vodafone and BT??

It shouldn't even work to subsidize them heavily and
hope for proprietary income in the future as even
UK markets are getting unbundled and competitive.

Please do not continue the mistake of calling UK
Europe, although it pixxes them off, at least when
doing so from the european mainland and especially
from inside EMU.
(It is easy for European wireless operators to talk about having their own private label phones)

Btw, are they still playing this silly SIM-game of locking
phones??
