Ausdauer, re: "1Gb NAND flash architecture" Sandisk today announced the results of its first test of a 32GB CF card developed jointly with Toshiba. An actual user was quoted as saying "While beta testing this product, I shot 132 images of my left foot and 245 of my right foot. I also have 146 hi-res images of my cat's front paws, 268 of his face, and 319 of his rear end as he walked away. I have been shooting all day and my camera reports that I still have >30,000 unused images. Perhaps it's time for me to leave my house in search of new photo opportunities.". Aus ... there is an end-point to flash. We aren't there yet but after 128K, the "returns" are starting to diminish. Craig
