While GNSL warns, CRS Robotics seems to be encountering clear sailing, though this isn't exactly raised guidance:

>>BURLINGTON, ONTARIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 4, 2001--CRS Robotics(TSE:ROB. - news) announced today that customer commitments for its products and services for the second quarter ended June 30, 2001 were at record levels. Total revenue commitments of approximately $12 million were received during the quarter. Ralph Steedman, President & CEO stated, ``Our markets continue to experience impressive growth rates and the products CRS has to offer are being well accepted by customers. CRS has two key enabling technologies that are essential to successful laboratory automation; a scalable suite of integration software products and a family of robotic movers that efficiently transfer microtitre plates within an automated system.''

CRS anticipates that the majority of these commitments will be completed in the second and third quarters of the current fiscal year. Dr. Hansjoerg Haas, Managing Director of Laboratory Automation commented, ``Our sales pipeline has never been stronger. I expect a number of important orders to be booked over the next few months. We will also be expanding our sales coverage in key European markets that until now have been under represented.'' <<
