Yes, I'll admit to ignorance on that point. Since when has that stopped me? Anyway, my foot only made a passing swipe at my mouth.

My email to Julie Cunningham once I recognized the error. Sent this a.m. Will let everyone know when and if a response is received.

As a shareholder, please allow me to congratulate everyone at QUALCOMM for the recently announced Nokia license agreement. It is a very good one, favoring QUALCOMM. The negotiating team deserves many, many accolades. I am a very happy owner of QUALCOMM shares, and in fact bought more as a result of the agreement.

I have a question which is prompted by the fact that I have been informed that the Spinco spin-off is still on track for the Fall. Since it appears, at least to me, that many of the negotiating objectives which prompted Spinco had been reached as a result of the Nokia agreement, I was somewhat surprised to recently learn that Spinco is still on track.

The question which has come to mind is a fairly simple one: Does QUALCOMM now have all the GSM IPR it needs in order to produce multi-mode chips as a result of the recent agreement with Nokia?

Thanks for your anticipated courtesy in enlightening me on this point.
