P4s hit 2800MHz cooled, Tualatin 1825MHz

theinquirer.net

They are Nitrogen cooled of course, but air cooled P3s are apparently hitting 1495.

The Tualatin .13 micron series of Pentium IIIs is one of the oddest things La Intella has ever launched, with variants for the Japanese markets.

And lest we forget, La Intella is doing other strange things with its microprocessors before it performs its super switch to just Pentium 4s and Celerons any week now, and that is to intro some 100MHz FSB PIIIs into the channel.

What on earth is going on? No wonder Intel have called a meeting with customers to explain it all.
