Make no mistake, there was once a period that the questions of whether the attempt of avoiding Q's IPR maybe possible through WCDMA. Yes Ericy settled at that time but it didn't mean the end of the story because the standard was still in the development stage. Yes there are those of us who know the chance is slim but it is certainly not a sin to think it is a possibility. Not only it is not a sin, but also a direction that any smart investors should look at. So what I'm trying to say is when the picture was not as clear as today, one should put all possibilities into his/her considerations and made his/her moves accordingly. This is a forever change world. People learn and change all the time. So it is very important to tell the difference between different kind of people. Yes there might be once a time that postyle also thought that it is possible to circumvent Q, I mean why not? Even I was not 100% sure if you ask me. The bottom line is you go with the flow and apply whatever you learned into your new adventure.
