Linda Raschke and Tony Oz (a different Oz than our friend on the thread) have written extensively on both topics [using multiple timeframes, and using moving averages]. Linda co-authored "Street Smarts" but that's more price-pattern oriented, most of her writings on this are in her papers, some of which she's put on the internet (Moore Research). Tony has two books out which you can find on Amazon. Teresa Lo has a bunch of great material on her website in that area (www.intelligentspeculator.com). And don't forget Deron's book, The Long-Term Daytrader. He makes more than 40 cents gross per book so is looking to retire early by having us hype it up <G> Good trading, -Steve
