Gore got more votes, but GW snuck in nonetheless. Even if this is actually true, its still not accurate. Bush won by carrying the EC. Under our Constitution, the winner of the Presidential sweepstakes is determined by the EC count, not popular vote count. The fact that Gore may have received more popular votes is interesting trivia, but Constitutionally irrelevant. JLA
