Gold stocks still acting very well considering the smash in POG. I expect both gold and gold stocks to mount a powerful rally soon after next week's BOE auction. But some further weakness likely before that happens.

I am wondering if the catalyst might be a G-7 agreement to do whatever is necessary to halt the surging dollar. That would be bullish for the overall stock market as well, but would crush bonds. The failure of bonds to rally today on serious stock market weakness and a surging greenback tells me that market will be crushed once the dollar goes down for the count.
