"According to Mercury INTC gained marketshare this quarter." If that is the case, and AMD sold even the same number of processors in Q2 as Q1, that would mean the market in Q2 was bigger than Q1. No one seems to have claimed that. So the conclusion is... If AMD claims to have sold more processors in Q2 than in Q1 I am inclined to believe them. It hasn't been that long ago that they were in court over stuff like that.
