Though there is blame to go around it will be proved that so called California energy crisis largely never existed except when the Texas Cartels turned off the power and gas. It will become one of the biggest political scandals ever and will bring down Bush. Residents of California already believe (in a recent poll) 55% that the energy crisis never existed. That 55% will only climb. And if you think all Californians are liberal think again. This is Reagan's state afterall. Like much of the country we are probably split one third between liberal, moderate and conservative. But most here are environmentalists and believe in freedom of lifestyle. We don't like Southern Baptists, oil gougers, pollutors or racists. We are a very diverse and freedom-loving society out here. Bush blew it by declaring war on California and letting us be gouged. Now that we know he's a liar we are pissed. Even some conservatives. And McCain is very popular here. Think how many congressmen we have here to re-elect. Few of them will be Republican next time around. very few.
