Ish,
I can remember, years ago, when I suffered a severe sprain to my ankle. I use an Osteopath at the time, but he used many of the same techniques as Chiropractors. He was out of town that day, so I went to my medical GP because the pain was so great. All he knew to do was give the ankle a shot of novocaine, and told me to live with it. Even with the shot, I could barely hop along. The next day, on crutches, I went to the Osteopath (they are hated by medical doctors too, even though they become doctors before they chose Osteopathy), he wrapped the ankle with a special application of tape that he had learned away from the medical profession, and I walked out with barely a limp. He never had to re-wrap it, because it healed so rapidly.
