Let me tell you about osteopaths and I know because I'm married to one. Their medical school training is slightly inferior to allopathic MD training. Their main problem is after medical school where there are too few residencies and half enter MD programs. There is no animosity toward DO's as we take them into our residencies. The main difference is their manipulatory teachings which don't have much scientific basis. I'm still waiting for my wife to show me her technique!
