Hi Joel, Ferocious rain (defined as coming down in sheets), just like what we have had over the past twenty days; amazing how much water is up there, somewhere. But only rain and a bit of wind, definitely no typhoon, as in umbrellas flying off and heads decapitated by street signs. Typhoon 8 flag is still up (1, on its way; 3, may have to go back home soon; 8, Tora, Tora, Tora) and many businesses, banks and government agencies will stay closed at least for the morning. Love the storm days. Even though my work can be done anywhere I have my computer, I tend not to on such days.
So, bottom line, Pezz gurgled a few drinks of sea water, but is OK; MeDroogies got home OK, but a bit wet from the storm; and Maurice got through the cellular call. Jay is dry, not too warm, not too cold, water melon juice cleansed, happily tapping on the computer, waiting for the next storm of this season. It is an odd matter that the storms with female names tends to do maximum damage, and with other names, fake-outs.
