Recently, Japanese had made some aggressive moves in the digital camera field. The submicron lithography technology began to allow more pixels to be used in digital cameras. While scanners are not improving much in resolution, cameras will become more important in the graphics field. STRR's IDEA software being able to edit outputs from digital cameras will move into the publishing field(newspaper business) nicely. I still remember my first boss at Photon took a single machine and drove around the country to sell the photographic machine to newspaper businesses. Bob may yet find more target-able customers to sell his IDEA software. 2002? Its not that far away now. He probably has to really get going pretty soon.
