Well, so much for my fortune telling abilities. CREE promptly headed south, as did QCOM and SEBL. I had resigned myself to SEBL being called away, but now have a limit order in to buy the July 45 back (at 2.30). Was hoping to sell Aug or Sept CREE 30's, instead have a limit order to buy back the last 2 Sept 30's I have had out for a while. Looks like you may get an opportunity to escape your QCOM position gracefully as well-who knows, maybe the Q goes to 50 tomorrow, and you come out smelling like a rose.
I did open an account with IB (Timberhill). There's
quite an application process. FWIW my wife is a research librarian who is very suspicious of info found on internet chat rooms, so she looked into them and they are legit. Hard to argue with their commission structure, and they do allow more interesting option strategies.
