Bacchus, I haven't been following the thread closely lately. Been kind of busy. I think if AMD drops to id teens it may be a good buy again. But it will take a while to get there. I doubt if Intel will make its numbers either. If they miss .11 by more than a few pennies and give lousy Q3 guidance this could tank market even more. Intel may be a good short tomorrow if it only drops a buck or two on the AMD news. Although seeing as EMC had a horrible warning too - we could get real bloody - but that may wait till early next week as many traders are still on vacation. In addition AMD has a huge institutional ownership - around 80% IIRC. If they remotely sense trouble vs Intel - they will trash the stock big time as they rush for the exits. Not a good time to be a long i'm afraid and i am glad i am out. regards, Kash
