i'm glad to hear that. thanks for all the comments, they were thought provoking. i won't respond to all the comments you made because i agree with most of them, but i do have something to say about this one.

i haven't spent a whole of time analyzing this one, but perhaps i should. it makes sense that as the shortcomings of communism are exposed and capitalism spreads across the globe that this would be beneficial to peace, but i'm a little worried. i've read a few things that suggest when there are shortages of commodities wars tend to break out in a battle over natural resources. i'll see if i can locate a couple of those articles i read about war and commodities.
